the insurance field since 1985 and have over 23 years
experience selling insurance and other financial products.
I have also earned both the Chartered Life Underwriters
designation(CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant
(ChFC) professional designation from the American College,
Bryn Mawr, PA.
Candidates for the ChFC designations must complete a minimum of eight courses and 16 hours of supervised examinations. They must also fulfill stringent experience requirements and ethics requirements. The CLU designation has a minimum of eight course and 16 hours of supervised examinations.
The ChFC and CLU programs focuses on the complete financial planning process as an organized way to collect and analyze information on a client's total financial situation. ChFC's and CLU's can identify and establish specific goals and the formulate, implement and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals. Professional who earn these designations can provide expert advice on a broad range of financial topics including financial planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation, life and health insurance, business taxation and planning, along with retirement planning. |
